Air Premium X4: The perfect full air suspension for your motorhome

Motorhomes pose a particular challenge for conventional spring systems. Standard steel springs are subject to high stresses from the high weight of the interior fittings and equipment, as well as uneven loading. Under these conditions, they quickly lose their tension, resulting in a loss of driving comfort and stability. The rear of the vehicle can also sink. Air suspension systems are an effective solution to these problems and to maintain your motorhome’s driving comfort and stability.

Automatic full air suspension for front and rear axle

The AL-KO Air Premium X4 is a full air suspension system for the front and rear axle. The front axle is 100 per cent air-sprung, the rear axle 80 per cent. This ensures a consistently high driving height with optimum comfort-focused suspension. For this purpose, air spring struts are used on the front axle and air bellows of the rear axle. This enables automatic alignment to the optimum driving level and perfect levelling of the motorhome when stationary.

The four-circuit Air Premium X4 full air suspension offers optimum comfort in most situations. Shocks and vibrations are largely absorbed while travelling. The motorhome can be automatically levelled on uneven pitches at the push of a button with the automatic levelling function. It is therefore no longer necessary to fit chocks, which is a cumbersome task.

Thanks to the flexibly adjustable gradient angle, ramps can also be negotiated without any problems. You can raise or lower the vehicle while going up to 25 km/h with just the push of a button. This means driving onto a ferry no longer poses a problem.

The ability to tilt the vehicle sideways speeds up the emptying of the waste or fresh water tank. Furthermore, lowering the front and rear axles allows you to load the motorhome in a relaxed way without injuring your back.

The complete system is maintenance-free and also suitable for vehicles with ESP.

Functions of the AL-KO Air Premium X4 full air suspension:

  • Fully automatic, load-independent level control on the front and AL-KO rear axle(s)
  • Maximum raising of the front axle or maximum lowering of the rear axle enables easy loading of the rear garage or load-carrier
